Who we are
VP Media (NI) Ltd, trading as Docsol, 7 Monaghan Street, Newry, County Down, BT35 6BB. If you have a question about your data, ring 028 3026 9555, email jimdocsol@gmail.com or write to us at that address.
What we collect
When you order: your name, email, phone number, delivery address and what you bought. When you send an enquiry: your name, email, phone number and your message. When you upload a photograph for printing: that photograph.
Your photographs
Photographs you upload are stored privately, are not public and cannot be browsed by anyone without a staff login. They are used only to produce your order, and never in our own marketing unless you tell us in writing that we may. We delete them twelve months after an order is finished, and sooner if you ask.
Payments
Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe processes your payment details under their own privacy policy.
Why we are allowed to hold it
To perform the contract when you place an order. With your consent, which is what the tick box on the enquiry and contact forms is, when you ask us a question. And to meet our legal obligations, which is why order and payment records are kept for six years for HMRC. You can withdraw consent for us to hold an enquiry at any time and we will delete it.
Who else sees it
Stripe for payment. Supabase, who host our database and file storage within the EU. Mailgun, who send our order and enquiry emails. Vercel, who host the site. Royal Mail or a courier for delivery addresses. Nobody else, and we never sell your details.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it. You can also object to how we are using it, or ask for it in a portable form. Email jimdocsol@gmail.com or ring 028 3026 9555 and we will deal with it within one month, free of charge. If you are not happy with how we handle it you can complain to the Information Commissioner at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies and storage
The site keeps what is in your basket in your own browser, which it cannot work without, and signs staff in to the order portal. Neither of those identifies you to anyone else and neither can be switched off without breaking the site. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not run a tracking pixel, and the fonts are part of the site rather than loaded from Google, so your browser does not call anyone else just by visiting. If we later add something to measure which pages are useful, it will be off until you turn it on, and the Cookie settings link in the footer will let you change your mind at any time.
Card details
We never see them. Paying takes you to Stripe's own checkout, and the card number is entered there, on their systems, not ours.
